Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
1 Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
Are you saved?
Most people will say that they know Jesus. But Matthew 7:23 says that Jesus will tell many to depart, “for I never knew YOU.” So it’s not about you knowing Jesus. It’s about Jesus knowing you. For Jesus to know you means that you have to turn away from your former life of sin so that you can commit to Him fully in an intimate relationship. It’s impossible to have a relationship with someone that never gives themselves to you. Many people claim to trust Jesus, but in reality they do not believe in Him enough to give Him their life.
Romans 10:9 says, “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
“Lord Jesus, I have sinned. I messed up and I am sorry. Please forgive me and heal me. I am unable to fix my life on my own, and so I give you my life. I believe that God has raised You from the dead, and I now confess you as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for your free gift of eternal life.”
